On Mary’s Desk - work in progress
If you would like to purchase any of my books, there are links on each of the pages that will lead you to either Amazon, Kobo, or my own online shop (where all of the books are signed before I send them). On the Where to purchase page, you’ll find some UK bookshops and other locations who have stocked my books - and will do again if you request them. You can also request them from your local library! Please do not purchase from any other online or physical stores, as those copies may have been obtained without authorisation.
Working title: The Crossley Song Contest
Status - in progress
Another of the Wynn Vale Tales, this time set in 1933 in the village of Crossley. If you’ve read the Green Cygnet, you’ll know that Crossley celebrates Lammas with a Cherry Tea when the whole village welcomes the rest of the Vale with games, food, drink and dancing. However, the stock market crash of 1929 has put a strain on everyone’s finances and the village needs a way to bring in a little more money to cover some of the costs of the Cherry Tea. They decide to hold a music festival with competitions for choirs, instruments and solo performers.
It’s a lot to organise, and as Lammas approaches, subterfuge and a bending of the rules put the chances of a Crossley clean sweep at risk!
Catching Up book 6: Four Winds
Status - first draft edits
We’ve reached 1936 and Caroline and Max are still in Plymouth. However, events across Europe mean relocations for several of the characters we have come to know, and the journeys will not be easy.
A new venture for Caroline and Tommy has a promising start after an unexpected bequest gives Caroline and Max a new escape to the seaside. With new friends and a new community, will this be an idyllic home for one and all?
Daisy Clare’s Book of Poetry

An on-going project ‘in collaboration’ with one of my favourite characters in the Catching Up series. Poems about rural life, loves and longings. When we’ve written enough of them, they will be published.
